Street Corn Seasoning
Inspired by Mexico’s famous street food, this seasoning captures the bold, creamy, tangy, chili-lime magic of elote (aka corn on the cob) and puts it right in your spice cabinet.
“I wanted to bottle the best part of elote—the way the sweetness, tang, spice, and creaminess hit all at once. But I also wanted it to cook well, cling to food, and go places that a mayo-slathered cob just can’t. Side note, there’s actual corn powder in this blend so it’s everything including the elote. KEY FLAVORS & INGREDIENTS
Corn powder sets the scene with rich sweetness, while lime and citric acid brings that signature zesty tang. Chili powder and ground jalapeño deliver a balanced heat, layered with smoked paprika for subtle warmth. Parmesan adds creamy umami depth, while garlic powder, sea salt, and cane sugar create a craveable, sweet-savory base that sticks and sizzles. A trio of herbs—marjoram, Mexican oregano, and parsley—round things out.
HOW TO USE IT
Mexican-Inspired Street Corn seasoning was made for more than corn—though it absolutely slaps on grilled cobs. The beauty of this blend is its balance of tang, creaminess, spice, and sweetness, making it a total flavor flex for both high-heat cooking and last-second finishing.
-
Grilling & Roasting – Sprinkle on corn, chicken, shrimp, or veggies before they hit the grill or oven.
-
Frying & Searing – Add to batter for fried zucchini or dust over fries, onion rings, or popcorn chicken.
-
Sauces & Spreads – Mix into crema, mayo, or butter for an easy elote dip, compound butter or the perfect taco sauce.
-
Finishing & Garnishing – Top off grilled corn, potato salad, or even deviled eggs for a zesty, street-food twist.
WHAT IT’S GOOD ON
This blend was born for summer but crushes year-round. It shines on grilled corn, of course—but don’t stop there. Use it on fries, grilled chicken tacos, popcorn, roasted cauliflower, and smashed potatoes. Or mix it into a risotto or corn chowder to add more depth.
Elote-inspired and endlessly versatile—sprinkle, rub, or mix it into whatever you’re cooking.
